Anniversary Conference Grant

The Saskatchewan Library Association (SLA) is pleased to offer a new $1,500 Anniversary Conference Grant.

The grant will help fund an eligible individual SLA member to attend a Canadian conference held before May 2018, and share their experience with the broader library community. The grant will cover all eligible expenses to a maximum of $1,500.

Applications must be received by August 31, 2017 for a conference that will occur prior to May 2018. The successful applicant will be required to submit a one- to two-page follow-up report by June 30, 2018.

Continuing Education Grants

The Saskatchewan Library Association strives to provide and support relevant educational opportunities for its members. Three categories of grants are available:

  1. Grant to an individual for attendance to any continuing education opportunity (conference, workshop, etc.).
  2. Grant to an individual or institution for organization and promotion of a continuing education opportunity (conference, workshop, etc.).
  3. Grant for first time attendance at the Saskatchewan Libraries Conference.

Grants will not be awarded if suitable candidates do not apply. Preference will be given to those who have not had a grant before. Deadline for applications is August 31, 2017.  More information and applications are  available online
