Culture Days is a 3-day long annual collaborative pan-Canadian volunteer movement to raise the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of all arts and culture groups. This year, Culture Days in Saskatchewan will take place September 29 and 30, and October 1.

Culture Days raises the awareness, accessibility, participation and engagement of Canadians in the arts and cultural life of their communities. With the support of volunteer groups at the national, provincial and local levels, hundreds of thousands of artists, cultural workers, organizations and groups, volunteers and supporters self-mobilize to host free participatory public activities that take place in hundreds of cities and towns throughout the country over the last weekend of September each year.

For the past two years SLA has distributed 10 grants to libraries who successfully plan and execute special programming for Culture Days.

This year only, SaskCulture has generously provided additional funding that enables SLA to increase its annual Culture Days grants from $200 to $300.
