The Saskatchewan Library Association‘s annual conference is held in the spring, usually the first full weekend in May, in concurrence with the AGM. A series of workshops, meetings, speakers, and social events are held over a two-to-three day period, including the Mary Donaldson Memorial Lecture.
The conference is a chance to
- enhance professional skills and understanding
- discuss significant issues affecting library service now and in the future
- meet and talk with others in the field on an informal basis
The awards banquet is especially a chance to celebrate achievements in the field of library service.
People are what make a conference, so we look forward to seeing you there! Want to get more involved and be part of making the next conference the best one yet? Join the conference committee or one of the sub-committees! There are also many volunteer opportunities just prior to and during the conference.
Contact the SLA office for more details.
