  • Saskatchewan Library Association
    The Saskatchewan Library Association is a provincial, volunteer, non-profit, charitable organization designed to further the development of library service in Saskatchewan and through libraries, the culture of the province. SLA provides information, advocacy, awareness, education, membership benefits and cultural opportunities for library workers and the public at large.
  • Saskatchewan Libraries Education Bursary
    The Saskatchewan Libraries Educational Bursary promotes the continued growth of professional librarianship in the province of Saskatchewan and is awarded annually to a Canadian student currently enrolled in or accepted in an ALA-accredited graduate degree program in a Master of Library and Information Science.
  • SLA Frances Morrison Award
    The SLA Frances Morrison Award is an award of merit for outstanding service to libraries given in the name of one of Saskatchewan’s exceptional librarians, Frances Morrison.
  • The Mary Donaldson Memorial Trust
    The Mary Donaldson Memorial Trust was established in 1966 to honour the memory of Mary Donaldson, Saskatchewan’s first Provincial Librarian. The fund supports continuing education within the library community through the presentation of the Mary Donaldson Memorial Lecture given each year by an expert in a library-related field, and through the Mary Donaldson Award of Merit, which is a bursary given annually since 1977 to assist and further the education of a Library Technician enrolled at a library education institution in Saskatchewan.
