Call for Volunteers
The 2012 Saskatchewan Libraries Conference is just around the corner, and it’s time to consider helping out as a volunteer. This year’s conference is being held May 3-5 at the Ramada Hotel in Regina. We have jobs big and small. Please consider these ways in which you can help:
* Shift on the Registration Desk, working alongside other volunteers
These shifts are around 2 hours.
* Take photos during the Conference as a Roving Photographer
We have only two more shifts available for shutter bugs. Friday or Saturday afternoon is still up for grabs.
* Register delegates coming into the SLA AGM on Friday morning 8:00 – 10:00
* Session Recorders who write a summary of a conference session
This is a great opportunity for those already attending sessions. A session recorder will have to take notes and write up a summary after the conference about the session.
Thank you for considering these volunteer positions.
*Session Conveners who will introduce the speaker
*Dine Around Captains
The Dine Around will occur at 5:30 on Friday. The Captains will be the contact person at the restaurant for the attendees. We need 5 volunteers.
Please Contact: Diane Zerr at dzerr@reginalibrary.ca if you are interested in volunteering.
